Game rules
Preparation: 2 to 8 people, a deck of 52 playing cards, no jokers. A to 10 cards are scored, J/Q/K each count as 0.5 points; the total score on the field starts from 0. Each player is dealt two hand cards, and the remaining cards are used as a draw pile.
- Take turns clockwise. When it's your turn, play a card that won't bring the total on the field above 31, openly add it to the total, and then immediately draw a card to return your hand to two cards.
- If both cards in your hand will make the total score exceed 31, you lose immediately and accept a basic two-unit penalty, and the game ends.
- If someone adds the total score to exactly 31, the next person will have no cards to play and will become the loser.
- When the draw pile is used up, shuffle the played cards into a new draw pile, but retain the total points on the field.
After getting familiar with it, add: grabbing cards and insurance
- When anyone can use a card to bring the total score to 10, 20 or 30, he can play the card first; for each success, the final penalty will be increased by one unit. When it's your turn or you just play the cards, you continuously add integers without adding units.
- When the hand can directly reach 31, you can first ask the next player whether to buy insurance. After buying insurance, if it really ends, the penalty in the game will be halved but not lower than the basic two units.
- If the next player doesn't buy and you end it successfully, the final penalty will be increased by one unit; if you ask randomly and there is no card to play, you will be added by one unit.
